Slurry Management

Appropriate disposal of slurry is easier with Revolution SPS Filtering Systems.

Use these two specifically-designed products to aid in proper handling of slurry.

ProDRI - for solidification of heavy slurry. Transforms high-solids slurry into disposable form - commonly used up to 100/200 grit level.

ProFLOC - for rapid separation of water and solids at higher grit levels. Also provides re-usable water for wet processing of concrete.
ProDri™, Slurry Solidifier, 50 lb bag
ProDri is used for the solidification and stabilization of waste slurry and other fluids produced from concrete-related applications. It encapsulates any further contaminants left in the slurry and is resistant to leaching making it a cost effective method for safe slurry disposal. ProDri creates solids from the water and contaminants in the slurry sludge to pass the Paint Filter Liquid Test (PFLT) and the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) for heavy metals. It is an extremely fast, efficient and cost effective way to dispose of left over slurry sludge. The gelling process requires minor agitation and takes roughly 10 minutes. Once the waste is completely gelled, it is easily disposed as construction waste.

ProFloc™, Slurry/Water Separator, 50 lb bag
ProFloc consists of a proprietary, non-hazardous blend of minerals, polymers, sodium bentonite clay and pH reducing acids that offers a safe, simple, and cost-effective means for pre-treatment and disposal of slurry.

How It Works: A strong negative charge is produced as the mixture becomes hydrated causing a separation of the water and particles. The results are noticeable within 2 minutes and works best with mild agitation with full results within 10 minutes. Once the water is separated from the particles, the thickened sludge will sink to the bottom causing the water to rise above. This flocculation process adjusts the pH in the water allowing it to then be discharged directly to a POTW or recycled and the remaining sludge is then ready for landfill disposal.

We recommend using ProDri on the remaining thickened sludge to dehydrate the remaining moisture in the sludge. This process creates a safer material for standard disposal that meets the requirements for the EPA 9095B Paint Filter Test for adequate moisture levels.
